In this section we will be going over the basic ingredients
you will need for starting your e-business. You may be worried
about what you are going to sell, whether or not you have enough
computer savvy, or how you will accept credit card payments,
you have a suitable enough computer, or … AARGH! Don’t
worry about any of this yet. In fact, forget about it entirely
for the time being if you can. Let’s start somewhere a
little closer to home: you!
We want to make sure that you, the most important variable in
this online venture, have a solid foundation of important attitudes
and solid understanding of important concepts before we get
to the step-by-step of developing your business.
The right attitude!
This may sound obvious or even trite, but if you are going
to start an e-business and you really want it to be successful,
the right attitude is imperative! In fact, it is crucial for
it to be in place before any of the rest of the information
in this e-book will can you. There are several facets to having
the right attitude for success:
You must believe in yourself and what you are doing. You
must believe that you are going to be successful. You must
truly believe in and pursue your dreams and ideas if you are
to see any success with your online venture. You must not
allow yourself to become discouraged with bumps in the road
or temporary setbacks. Look at obstacles as new opportunities.
They will come, but you will overcome. You must learn to EXPECT
them. That way when you run into them you are better prepared
and they barely even phase you. These bumps and obstacles
won’t keep you from your dreams, only you can keep yourself
from your dreams. Remember, mistakes are only events that
we are meant to learn from, and failure only occurs when we
stop trying.
THINK BIG!
Don’t sell yourself short! It may not necessarily be
your goal to become a millionaire with your e-business, but
if you could, would you? If you just answered yes to this
question (and I hope you did!), then it should be your goal
to become a millionaire with your e-business! It doesn’t
have to consume you, just let it be your incentive. Whatever
you truly desire, let it become your motivator!
There are literally thousands and
thousands of millionaires in the America alone today, and
over 80% of them are self-made millionaires! Why shouldn’t
you be one of the next? I truly doubt that most of
these individuals have anything special that you don’t
have (well except for a million bucks, but we can change that!)
It is important to follow your dreams, but it is equally as
important for you to have goals and diligently pursue them.
Remember this: you’ll never amount to more than your
goals, so make sure you have some good ones! Who cares if
they are lofty? You can’t hope your way to success.
You have to believe it will happen to you and actively live
your beliefs.
Even if you feel that you are in extremely healthy in the
attitude department and don’t really need help with
that, I want to recommend a book to you: The
One Minute Millionaire by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G.
Allen.
There are more than likely quite a few concepts and methods
that you will see in the information that we will be sharing
with you that will be entirely new to you, but just take them
one at a time. You can do it! If I believe in you, so you
should definitely believe in yourself.
