The
first rule of search engine optimization!
There are many variables to search engine optimization. Many
of these variables require an educated guess or even some
trial and error. There is a good time for guessing and experimenting,
and there is a good time to find out what the definitive answer
is. My rule of thumb: when there is a definitive answer, find
it. Only guess when there is no definitive answer.
When developing your important keywords, this is not at all
a good time for guessing. Why not? Because you don’t
need to guess about this. The definitive answer is available
to you.
Do your self a favor. Don’t guess about something or
just try it to see if it works if there is a simple, inexpensive
and easy way to find out the answer for sure! Never guess
about important variables like what your keywords and phrases
should be or how you should use them. Never assume you know
what keywords your customers are going to use while seeking
your business on a search engine. The success of your business
depends on the definitive answers to these questions. Don't
take the lazy route.
Potential keywords that may seem obvious to you as the business
operator may not be so obvious to your customer. Don’t
assume that your customer knows the technical jargon that
you in the business would use. There is a great way to find
out for sure which keywords and phrases will work for you
without any guesswork at all! You can actually find out what
your customers are searching for, what terms they are using
to search for It, and how often!
In my book, "How Ordinary People Make Extraordinary
Money Online!", I tell you how to know definitively what
keywords you should be using in the development of your page
content. Take the guesswork out of this crucial part of the
process and get the answers!
